Root and Rise Therapy seeks to help immigrants or children of immigrants who have experienced hardship heal or explore and develop their identity within the spaces they show up in. We aim to heal individuals who have experienced unhealthy patterns or emotional pain passed through family generations and develop their identity while being multicultural. This space is created for people of color to create inner healing and feel empowered.
Root and Rise Therapy works with couples who are experiencing conflict related to family issues, couples wanting to break or end generational patterns or couples seeking pre-marital therapy.

Natasha is a Nationally Accredited, Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience working with adults and adolescents in her 6+ years of practicing therapy. Her expertise includes generational trauma, childhood or relationship trauma, substance use issues, life transitions, self esteem, mental health issues and relationship challenges. She is trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Brainspotting Phase 1 and Gottman Level 1 for couples. Her approach involves understanding your potential as a human first and tapping into your strengths and incorporating other therapeutic techniques when appropriate.
As a second-generation South Asian, she understands and personally navigates cultural differences, family dynamics, and the impact of unresolved trauma or navigating a bicultural identity. Cultural and generational traumas might have been normalized or brushed aside during one's upbringing. Therapy can be a powerful step toward addressing and healing these issues. Her goal is to provide a non-judgmental, comfortable environment where progress happens at the client's pace,
